THE GTS INVITATIONAL
An invite-only development and competition experience for athletes ready to accept a higher level of challenge, coaching, and responsibility.

The GTS Invitational is the next stage of the Game Time Select athlete journey for selected Showcase athletes who demonstrate readiness for a more advanced developmental and competitive environment.
The Invitational intentionally shifts the emphasis.
Where the Showcase establishes the athlete's starting point primarily through testing and measurement, the Invitational creates a smaller environment centered on deeper position-specific coaching, controlled football evaluation, meaningful competition, and continued development.
An invitation recognizes what an athlete has demonstrated.
It does not mean development is complete.
It creates a greater responsibility to continue.
What athletes experience
The Invitational provides more time and opportunity for focused football instruction.
Athletes work on position-specific technique, fundamentals, execution, football understanding, communication, and situational decision-making.
The goal is not simply to tell athletes what to do.
It is to help them understand why it matters and how to execute it more consistently.
The Invitational places selected athletes in a more demanding competitive environment.
Competition challenges athletes to demonstrate:
Technique under pressure
Football instincts
Decision-making
Consistency
Communication
Confidence
Adaptability
Response to adversity
Winning matters.
But Game Time Select also evaluates how an athlete competes, responds, adjusts, and continues forward.
One of the biggest differences between simply identifying talent and developing athletes is what happens after coaching is given.
The Invitational gives GTS a stronger environment to observe coachability: how athletes listen, respond to correction, apply instruction, make adjustments, and carry learning into future repetitions.
Talent matters.
The ability to learn and apply matters too.
The Invitational continues evaluating athletes beyond raw athletic measurements.
Position skill, football understanding, competitive performance, effort, preparation, coachability, character, and response to adversity all contribute to the athlete's body of work.
Evaluation exists to provide useful information and direction — not simply another ranking.
Invitational selection is earned through the body of work demonstrated during the Showcase evaluation process.
Game Time Select considers factors including:
Athletic performance
Football skill and technique
Football understanding
Competitive performance and consistency
Coachability and effort
Preparation and character
Response to adversity
Commitment to continued improvement
An invitation should recognize readiness for the next environment, not simply identify the fastest, biggest, or most naturally gifted athletes.
Development eventually has to be tested.
The Invitational gives selected athletes an opportunity to take what they have learned and apply it against other committed competitors in a more focused football environment.
The purpose is to help athletes:
Receive deeper coaching.
Refine football skills.
Compete under greater pressure.
Apply previous feedback.
Demonstrate growth.
Learn from new challenges.
Continue identifying what comes next.
The Invitational raises both the level of competition and the level of responsibility.
Invited athletes do not simply benefit from the environment.
They help create it.
Athletes are expected to:
Arrive prepared.
Compete with intensity and respect.
Accept and apply coaching.
Encourage other competitors.
Communicate positively.
Respond constructively to adversity.
Represent themselves, their families, teams, communities, and Game Time Select well.
Being invited does not mean an athlete has arrived.
It means another opportunity has been earned.
The Invitational raises the standard, but it is still one stage of a much longer development process.
Athletes should leave with greater:
